Richard is head of an old established family that originally made its fortune in finance, but now the family have a fund which invests in a diverse range of companies including, most recently, technology. He is a kind, intelligent man, who is extremely well connected across government and business.

Robert is a self-made business man who worked his way out of poverty by establishing a bike courier service. He only works within the law and is proud of that fact. He has recently experienced massive growth in the movement of electronic storage media as people have become nervous of using the Internet and email for communications.

Belle is a self-made public relations and communications guru. Her company manage the Cartel’s public profile, a very complex task as the existence of the Cartel is a public secret. Belle is one of two ladies at the top table of the Data Cartel.

Member 33 is a martial arts expert with a military background. His company work is in the cross-over between tech and physical security. He is very important to the Cartel as its lead security advisor.

James’s company is in network security, and still is a gamer and ethical hacker for fun. His first invention was a software firewall for mobile phones, optimised for low resource consumption. He enjoys the power of providing security to the most famous organisations in the world.
